Telia Kaevumäe Stage, lying comfortably in the bosom of the castle ruins and over-looking the picturesque Lake Viljandi, is well known to folk friends. Traditionally the opening of the festival begins  there and packs up again in a cordial atmosphere with the concert of Ando & friends.
