The concert-lecture “Cyrillus Kreek and folk poetry” talks about how the composer collected folk poetry and how he later used it in his works. The VHK string orchestra and conductor Rasmus Puur perform Cyrillus Kreek’s secular and spiritual works which are based on folk songs including “Maga, maga Matsikene”, “Mis sa sirised sirtsukene”, “Undsel ilmal lätsi ma?“, “Mu süda, ärka üles“.
