Women have throughout history kept our traditional singing culture alive. The Estonian Folklore Archives hold a myriad of songs by our female ancestors that carry their thoughts and emotions to the current day. Which of these songs are the most meaningful to us at the moment? Which songs will be inherited by our children? On the three festival mornings, we invite women to come and sing about everything that has captured their minds and hearts. Runo songs and newer folk songs are led by Võromaa Lauluimändä, Anu and Triinu Taul, and Kairi Leivo. Bring your favourite songs with you so you can share them with the others!
