The concert-lecture “Cyrillus Kreek and folk poetry” discusses the composer's relationship with folk music and the use of folk poetry in his works. The VHK string orchestra and conductor Rasmus Puur perform Veljo Tormis' works which are based on folk songs including "Laevas lauldakse" and exceprts from the cycles "Jaanilaulud" and "13 eesti lüürilist rahvalaulu".
