The band consists of young musicians who study the traditional Chinese musical instrument guzheng at the Chengdu music school called Sound of Dragon. Their teacher Long Wang is an internationally renowned guzheng player. Guzheng is one of the most important Chinese traditional instruments which has been played for more than 2500 years. In the workshop, you’ll find out more about the history, playing techniques and sound aesthetics of this zither-like instrument.
